What is RALLY? 
Think of an AKC Rally event as any team sport: You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer him through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler both during and between the numbered signs. Although each performance is timed, having a good race time is not the goal; it’s all about working as a team while performing the skills, with the dog under control.

 Instructor - Brooke O'Brien
Brooke O’Brien is a professional dog trainer in the Nashville area and is currently active in several AKC sports. Her and her Duck Tolling Retrievers compete in AKC rally, obedience, and conformation as well as consistently testing in AKC retriever hunt tests and Upland hunt tests. She is currently a member of the International Association of Pet Professionals and is always expanding her education by attending seminars and workshops including Joel Silverman’s Training for TV and Film and the certification course, Training Without Conflict. In addition, her dogs have also been featured on several national commercials and music videos in Nashville!

Class Requirements

Dogs attending this class must have previously passed the Canine Good Citizen test, be under control on a leash, and current on all vaccinations.  Please send proof of vaccinations to ClarksvilleKennelClub@gmail.com.

Class Location, Dates & Times

Classes are held in the gym of Immaculate Conception School - 1901 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN

For this session, we are offering TWO beginner classes. 
Classes are held on Tuesday nights starting August 26 through September 30.  The first class will be from 6:15-7:15pm and the second class will be from 7:30-8:30pm.

Dates are:   August 26
                    September 2
                    September 9
                    September 16
                    September 23
                    September 30

Each class is limited to six (6) spots.  Refunds will only be issued if your spots can be filled from the waitlist.

If the class shows as "Sold Out" below, please submit your email address to be added to the waitlist and notified of the next class.

All classes provided by the Clarksville Kennel Club are NOT for aggresive dogs.  A dog showing aggression, and/or that is uncontrollable, will be immediately excused for the remainder of the class session for the safety of others.  No refund for remaining classes will be given.
