Terms & Conditions
Deposits & Payments: Every Mother of Corals course requires an initial non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance payment which is due on the 1st of the month 30 days prior to your start date. Reservations are not guaranteed until a deposit is received. Failure to make any payment when due may result in a loss of reservation. MOC reserves the right to revise the payment schedule and/or prices associated with a reservation without prior notice for any reason, including unforeseen costs at the time of booking.
Cancellation & Refunds: Upon cancellation of a participant's reservation for any reason, the refund of the deposit and payments made or due will be contingent upon MOC reselling the participant's reservation. Any refund is also subject to the following fees and conditions:
*If the course is canceled by MOC due to not enough participants signed up, deposits will be returned.
*Cancellation 60 days or more prior to the course start date - payment of any non-refundable fees;
*Cancellation 59 days or less prior to course start date - forfeiture of the course deposit, plus $100 per participant cancellation fee and payment of any non-refundable fees;
*Non-refundable fees include the course fee deposit.
Unforeseeable Circumstances: Prevailing weather conditions or other unforeseeable circumstances may cause certain modifications to all or part of the original course schedule. No refunds will be given for such modifications, and any additional fees resulting from weather or other unforeseeable circumstances will be the participant's sole responsibility.
Dive Experience: New or inexperienced divers will be required to arrive early and complete Open Water Certification, checkout dives and potentially the Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty course.
Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance; dive insurance is required (e.g. diversalertnetwork.org).
