  • This application is for artists and makers who wish to be considered for inclusion in Art in the County, a juried exhibition and sale presented by County Arts (Prince Edward County Arts Council.) Please click here for full eligibily and requirements.

All applications are reviewed through a blind jury process conducted online. The jury will evaluate submissions based on the artwork image, accompanying details (title, medium, size), and the artwork description (if provided).

The jury panel consists of three distinguished Canadian art professionals: John Gagné (Gallery Director & Curator, Toronto), Stanzie Tooth (Visual Artist, Toronto), and Marissa Y Alexander (Ceramic Artist, Hamilton).

Selected artists will be notified by email on June 18. Work accepted into the exhibition must be delivered to the County Arts Lab in the Armoury at 206 Main Street, Picton, on Friday, June 19, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Critiques will take place in person on Sunday, June 21. Artists who have selected the critique option but are not included in the exhibition are welcome to bring their work to the Lab for review at their scheduled time. Participants should be available to attend between 2:00 - 5:00 pm. The awarded artwork will also be selected in person during this session.

Selected works will be featured in the exhibition and offered for sale. Please review the guidelines carefully before submitting your work.
