The Crawford Fund Student Awards
The Crawford Fund is calling for applications for its 2024 Crawford Fund Student Awards from students attending university in the Northern Territory or Western Australia.
The closing date for applications is COB, Friday 28 June 2024.
Our Student Awards help you bring an international component to your studies and research and enable you to gain valuable practical experience in a developing country. We accept applications from students in Australian universities studying agriculture, animal production, fisheries, forestry, natural resource management or any area related to food and nutrition security.
These awards have been developed specifically to enable your practical, feet-on-the-ground, involvement in an overseas project as part of your university studies. In 2023, our State Committees supported 17 Crawford Fund Student Awards.
We strongly recommend you read the general background information before you start your application.
This short online application form will require you to attach a brief CV, the signatures of, or a supporting note from, the Authorised Officers approving your application, and details of at least one referee. Your health and safety are paramount to us so you will be asked to provide details of relevant arrangements for this purpose too. A budget template for your application is available here.
The conditions, requirements and amounts of the State and Territory Committees’ awards differ. Please check arrangements for each committee’s awards, provided on each committee’s webpage and contact our coordinators as per below with inquiries you may have.
