Direct flights from the UK (London) run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

If you wish to fly direct we recommend checking the document linked above and requesting your dates accordingly as our holidays are flexible to work with the best flights for you.

Once we have provided you with a quote, please provisionally reserve your holiday with us before booking your flights. This avoids any issues caused by changing availability. If you are booking months in advance and flights are not yet available, we can provisionally hold your holiday until flights are available to book

BEST TIME TO VISIT

You will always see a lot of marine life in the Azores, it is an exceptional year round destination for whale and dolphin watching with resident species.

SPRING (April, May, and June):

This is the best time to see baleen (blue, fin and humpback) whales as they migrate north past the islands and stay to feed on the nutrient rich waters.There are excellent sightings of these ocean giants from the islands during spring. We operate special small group tours on Sao Miguel Island and Pico Island at this time in addition to our standard, family and tailor made holidays.

SUMMER: (July, August, and September):

You are likely to see many species including sperm, beaked and pilot whales, orca and super pods of dolphins, as seen on the BBC’s “Blue Planet”.

AUTUMN/WINTER (October to March):

You will have the opportunity to see resident species and benefit from out of season holiday prices. The weather is also relatively mild with winter sunshine and it is much quieter with great island walks.
