Thank you for your interest in serving as a Guest Experience Ambassador with (DE-FI)®.
At (DE-FI)®, we don't simply recruit volunteers, we develop hospitality professionals.
Every event we produce is designed to educate, inspire, and strengthen the fashion industry. The experience our guests remember isn't determined solely by the runway, the collections, or the venue. It's shaped by the people who greet them, answer their questions, solve problems, celebrate their successes, and make them feel welcomed from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
That's why our Guest Experience Ambassador program is different.
Rather than filling volunteer positions, we intentionally build teams of individuals who are committed to professionalism, hospitality, teamwork, and creating meaningful experiences for every guest.
Whether you're welcoming first-time attendees, assisting designers backstage, supporting sponsors, helping media representatives, or providing general guest services, you will play an essential role in representing (DE-FI)®, Dayton Fashion Week™, Fashion Week of Cincinnati™, and our year-round fashion ecosystem.
2027 Event Opportunities
Invitation requests are currently being accepted for anticipated 2027 opportunities, including:
- (DE-FI) Fashion Week™ — Winter 2027
- Modelpalooza™ — Spring 2027
- Midwest Market Week™ — Summer 2027
- Dayton Fashion Week™ — Fall 2027
- Fashion Week of Cincinnati™ — Fall 2027
Additional opportunities may become available throughout the year, including networking events, educational workshops, community activations, planning meetings, volunteer training sessions, and other special gatherings.

Our Selection Process
Participation within (DE-FI) Hospitality Excellence Academy is by invitation and selection. Submitting this Invitation Request does not guarantee placement at an event.
Our goal is to thoughtfully build teams whose skills, availability, interests, and professional goals align with each opportunity. We intentionally create balanced teams made up of both new and returning ambassadors, experienced professionals and emerging leaders, ensuring every event benefits from collaboration, mentorship, and diverse perspectives.
What Makes This Program Different
All selected Guest Experience Ambassadors will participate in the (DE-FI) Hospitality Excellence Academy™, a comprehensive hospitality training program built around the principles of exceptional guest service, professional communication, leadership, accountability, and teamwork.
Participants will learn how to:
- Create exceptional first and last impressions.
- Take ownership of every guest interaction.
- Communicate professionally and confidently.
- Anticipate guest needs before they become requests.
- Resolve challenges with professionalism and empathy.
- Represent the (DE-FI) brand with excellence.
Selected participants may also have the opportunity to earn designation as a Certified Guest Experience Ambassador™ through successful completion of the Hospitality Excellence Academy.

Previous fashion experience is not required. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to excellence matter far more.
Before You Begin
Please allow approximately 15–20 minutes to complete this Invitation Request. Some opportunities may require additional interviews, orientation sessions, training, or background information depending on the role and event.
