Farm to Fashion Registration Form
  • Farm to Fashion

  • Fashion begins in the soil.

Farm to Fashion™ is a hands-on educational initiative from (DE-FI) Global INC™  and is administered through Dayton Fashion Week™ and Fashion Week of Cincinnati™.

Farm to Fashion™ explores the journey from land → fiber → textile → design through agriculture, sustainability, textile science, and creative practice.

Participants will engage in a series of indoor and outdoor activities across Dayton and Cincinnati, including workshops, field-based learning, and hands-on exploration of the hidden origins of fashion and materials, including natural fibers, botanical dyes, textile science, and garment creation.

Farm to Fashion™ is offered through two tracks:

    A Generation of (DE-FI)ance™ Track
    Youth (Grades 4–12)

    Community Track
    Adults

Please complete this Invitation Request Form so we can better understand your interest, support needs, and track placement.

    Important to note:

    • This is an invitation request, not automatic acceptance.
    • Some activities may take place outdoors and may involve walking, natural materials, food-related learning, and travel between Dayton and Cincinnati.
    • We are committed to creating a learning environment that is as safe, inclusive, and accessible as possible.
    • All communication for Farm to Fashion™ will be sent via email. Please check your email and spam/junk folders regularly so you don’t miss important program updates, schedule changes, or location information.

  • Contribution & Access

  • Farm to Fashion™ is designed with access in mind. The suggested contribution for each workshop will typically range from $25–$50, depending on the materials and activities involved.

This is a pay-what-you-can initiative, and we do not want finances alone to prevent participation.

Workshop contributions help cover materials, supplies, space, and support for the skilled artisans, educators, and professionals who share their expertise with participants.

While (DE-FI) Global INC™ is a volunteer-led organization, many of the individuals who lead Farm to Fashion™ sessions are working professionals who generously contribute their time, knowledge, and craft. Contributions help ensure that we can continue bringing these makers, educators, and innovators into the program.

If the suggested contribution presents a financial hardship, participants are encouraged to indicate that in the section below. We are committed to making this program accessible while also supporting the people who help make it possible.
