DFWTAC INCOMING FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP

Application for Fall 2026 Freshman
ELIGIBILITY

High school senior in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex meeting the following qualifications:
- Student must be an incoming freshman at Tuskegee University for the Fall 2026 semester
- Student must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Student must be a United States citizen
- Student must be available for an interview with the Scholarship Committee (if requested)
APPLICATION PACKAGE
- Completed application
- Official high school transcript (Official school document)
- Copy of SAT/ACT results
- Two (2) recommendation letters
  - One from a counselor or teacher
  - One from non-school personnel
- Essay titled "Why I Chose to Attend Tuskegee University" (300 word max)
APPLICATION DEADLINE

A completed application package must be submitted by May 9, 2026.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The amount of this scholarship will be determined by the funds allocated by the DFW Tuskegee Alumni Club, the academic credentials of the applicant, and the recipient's placement in relation to other scholarship winners.

The award amount will be paid upon verification of enrollment at Tuskegee University for the Fall 2026 semester.

Scholarship recipients will be notified of award amounts on or before June 30, 2026.

The student recipient must plan to attend Tuskegee University or must be currently enrolled at Tuskegee University.This scholarship is intended for students residing within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.I understand that this application is valid for one academic year only.I give permission for the release to the Dallas - Fort Worth Tuskegee Alumni Club information on grades and course completions; and further permit the Dallas - Fort Worth Tuskegee Alumni Club to publicize the scholarship if awarded.I give permission to Dallas - Fort Worth Tuskegee Alumni Club to publicize my name and photograph in association with this scholarship if awarded.I confirm that the information submitted in support of this application is true and correct, and the applicant fully understands that it is his/her responsibility to notify the Dallas - Fort Worth Tuskegee Alumni Club of any changes in status which affect eligibility.
