What is Dayspring Academy?
Dayspring Academy is a Cognia and SACS-accredited public charter school in Pasco County, serving grades Pre-K through 12. For 25 years, the school has proudly provided a tuition-free education to the community and currently has over 1300 students. Dayspring learners are challenged with a content-rich curriculum emphasizing digital skills, professional development, critical thinking, and creativity. The rigorous academic standards and dedicated staff have proven successful outcomes. Dayspring continues to score at the top of all state tests and has been ranked as one of the top-performing schools in both Pasco County and the Tampa Bay area. Our school's daily mission is to deliver a world-class education through the arts in a collaborative environment fueled by a passion for learning. With a waiting list that increases every year, we recognize the growing demands and are responding accordingly.

This is not only a DayspringISM incorporated into our curriculum, but a reminder that reaching a common goal takes a community. Dayspring currently has a waiting list of over 2000 children that we would love to accommodate but cannot, due to a lack of space and resources. Dayspring receives reduced state funding as a charter school, causing us to rely heavily on fundraising efforts. With your community leadership and our commitment to the children in our community,we will be able to serve more families.

2024 Gala and Performance
Celebrate the excellence in theater at The Dayspring Eras Tour, Dayspring's 2024 Gala. This red carpet event will not disappoint as we show case elite Broadway favorites during alive performance while enjoying a 3-course meal and entertaining live and silent auctions. This event will take place at the beautiful Higgins Hall in New Tampa on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.
