LIABILITY:
By submitting this application, I confirm I am responsible for producing and operating my event. I agree to carry my own event, liability, and property insurance and to comply with all applicable laws, venue rules, and required permits or licenses.
If alcohol is served, I am responsible for compliance with all liquor laws, including checking ID and not serving minors or intoxicated guests.
I understand DVF is not responsible for my event and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Design Vancouver Festival and its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from my event.
PHOTOGRAPHY/FILMING:
By submitting this application, I agree DVF may photograph or film during my event for DVF marketing, communications, and documentation.
PERMISSION:
By submitting this application, I agree that event information provided (excluding personal contact information) may be used for DVF listings and promotion, including the DVF website, newsletter, social media, and partner platforms. I understand I will be added to the DVF mailing list and can unsubscribe at any time.
If my event is accepted, I agree to include DVF in my event marketing, such as using the DVF logo and mentioning DVF in relevant promotional materials.
CURATION & REFUND:
DVF is curated. Submitting does not guarantee acceptance. DVF may decline submissions that do not meet festival guidelines.
If a submission is declined for not meeting artistic guidelines, DVF will notify the applicant and refund the registration fee in full. If not accepted, the organizer may not use DVF branding and DVF may request removal of any unauthorized listings.
If you withdraw before June 5, 2026, we will refund your fee minus a $50 administration fee. After June 5, 2026, fees are non-refundable.
