Liability and Procedural Agreements
Enrollment in the Despers USA Youth and Culture Association Program is not considered complete until all required registration forms and full payment have been received.
1. Student Check-In and Check-Out Procedures
To ensure the safety of all participants, the following procedures must be followed for each session:
Drop-Off: A parent or guardian must escort the student to the classroom and check them in with a designated instructor.
Pick-Up: At the end of class, parents or guardians must check in with an instructor and sign the student out.
Please be punctual for both drop-off and pick-up times.
2. Instrument Sticks and Materials
Sticks will be provided for use with instruments. In the event they are lost or damaged, replacement will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian at their own expense.
3. Photo Release
By signing the registration form, you grant permission for your child’s image to be used in Despers USA promotional and marketing materials. If you do not wish to grant this permission, please inform us in writing.
4. Medical Conditions and Special Needs
Please inform the instructors and program director of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may impact your child’s participation. This ensures we can create a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
5. Disciplinary Policy
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
Instructors will address and redirect inappropriate behavior.
If disruptive or unsafe behavior continues, parents will be contacted and may be asked to pick up their child.
Please note: No refunds will be issued for students dismissed due to disciplinary issues.
6. Illness and Health Safety
To protect the health of all participants:
Do not send your child to class if they exhibit symptoms such as fever, vomiting, persistent coughing, or any other signs of illness.
If a child becomes ill during class, the parent/guardian will be contacted for immediate pick-up.
In the case of a contagious illness, a doctor’s note may be required before returning to class.
7. Emergency Contact Information
Up-to-date emergency contact information is required at the time of registration.
Notify us promptly of any changes during the course of the program.
Parents/guardians must remain reachable during class times in case of an emergency.
8. Liability Waiver
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge and agree that:
Participation in the program involves inherent risks, which are voluntarily assumed.
Despers USA, its instructors, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries or harm that may occur during program activities.
It is your responsibility to ensure your child is physically and mentally fit to participate.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made prior to the first class are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable registration fees.
Cancellations made after the first class may receive a prorated refund based on the number of remaining sessions.
No refunds will be issued for missed classes or students dismissed for behavioral reasons.
10. Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather:
Class cancellations will be communicated via email or phone at least two (2) hours in advance.
We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule any canceled classes; however, make-up sessions are not guaranteed.
11. Dress Code
To ensure safety and comfort:
Students must wear clothing suitable for movement and participation.
Closed-toe shoes are required. Sandals, flip-flops, or open-toe footwear are not permitted.
If recommended, students should bring protective items such as earplugs.
12. Consent for Transportation (If Applicable)
