About JA Inspire:
JA Inspire is Junior Achievement of New York's spotlight career exploration resource for middle & high school students, brought to life by 60 regional employers across New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley. Taking place in a rich virtual environment that mimics the dynamics of a live physical event and offered at no cost to schools, JA Inspire features an online career expo with interactive exhibitor booths across 16 career clusters, exclusive webinars & presentations in the virtual auditorium, downloadable resources, and a live Q&A component with volunteers from many different professional backgrounds and industries
Highlights:
• 65 regional employer booths sorted by industry
• Downloadable career information, on-the-job videos, and resources like leads on scholarships, competitions, volunteer opportunities, internships, and more
• Live Q&A chat with volunteers from different career clusters & industries in March
• Virtual backpack allows students to save what interests them.
• Online software (web-based, no downloads needed) is compatible with multiple devices: computers, tablets, mobile phones.
• Gamification, online scavenger hunt, and leaderboard to reward participation adds fun and increases student engagement
• All materials are provided by JA and support Common Core and NY State academic standards
• Wraparound career exploration activities may be teacher-delivered or provided in a digital student guidebook for self-guided, independent exploration
• Extended student access – online access open to students for 4 months (March through June 2026) for students to visit & revisit at their convenience!
