This is a hands-on role that offers experience in both kitchen work and customer service. Schedule:
Part-time year-round position (24-32 hours per week with Saturday availability)
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small, hardworking team
- Measure, prepare, and assemble ingredients (washing, peeling, chopping, seasoning, mixing)
- Follow recipes and use kitchen tools and equipment properly
- Maintain food inventory and restock as needed
- Follow all labeling, packaging, rotation, and storage procedures
- Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain a sanitary workspace
- Assist with prepared foods production as needed
- Provide customer service and handle cash transactions
- Take on additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
Preferences:
- Kitchen or food service experience
- Interest in local agriculture
- ServSafe or Allergen Awareness certification
Compensation and Benefits:
- $15.50–$17.50 per hour, commensurate with experience
