The Episcopal Church has a complicated relationship with alcohol. We joke that we are “whiskeypalians,“ while lauding our part in establishing AA (yay, Ohio!), and hosting AA groups. Every congregation has people who struggle with addiction and other unhealthy coping mechanisms – and these challenges have only grown during and post-pandemic. The Rev. Erin Jean Warde will invite us to explore the church’s relationship with alcohol, our own and our parishioners’ coping mechanisms, and how we can all be a part of fostering healthy communion and community that celebrates resurrection. I look forward to praying, talking, and sharing time together with you!
God’s Peace,
+Anne
