Thank you for registering your interest in becoming an academy and joining one of our partner MATs.

This form is used to:
- notify the Diocesan Board of Education (DBE) of your intention to convert to become an academy and the partner Multi Academy Trust you wish to join
- confirm that your governing board has given due consideration to this decision, in line with diocesan guidance
- provide supporting evidence, including relevant board minutes and key dates
The DBE will review your submission and respond as soon as practicable to confirm whether you may proceed to form A2: Application to Join a Multi Academy Trust.

There is no requirement to contact the DfE or the local authority at this stage.
