Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Squash & Gobble! Last year's 10th annual Squash & Gobble was a record-setting event with over 150 artisan booths!
The date for 2019 is set for Saturday, September 14th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Squash & Gobble is an outdoor one-day event held in historic downtown Greenville. In addition to the unique artisan booths, festival goers enjoy live art demos and numerous kids’ activities, all FREE to the public!
"Free” also extends to our artisans! There is NO booth rental fee, however, all artists must complete and electronically sign the Artist Application/Agreement. If accepted, artisans will be required to provide a $25 refundable deposit (per booth space). Deposits will be refunded at the close of the event. For details, please see the booth deposit policy in the FAQ.
The event is organized and hosted by the Greenville Tourism Commission, (GTC) and all artisan entries are reviewed for eligibility and approved based upon the quality and craftsmanship of the arts/crafts. The GTC has the exclusive right to approve or disqualify artisan applications. We invite artisans who specialize in pottery, oil/acrylic/watercolor painting, jewelry making, stained glass, soap making, candle making, hand-made furniture, glass blowing, photography, silversmithing, basket weaving, quilting, broom making, etc…
It’s time to Squash & Gobble! On behalf of the Greenville Tourism Commission, I look forward to receiving and advancing your artist application and hope to welcome you to our beautiful downtown for a day of celebration of the arts!
