This application is for the 2025-26 School Year
Those who apply must be a public, private or charter school serving students in New Hampshire. The students population must have 40% or greater qualified for Free and Reduced Lunch programs.
Deadline for applications is Friday, October 31st. Schools will be notified of award status within two weeks of application.
The scholarship includes the following elements (either onsite at the Discovery Center or at your school as an outreach):
Onsite:
- Admission for up to 75 students and 8 chaperones
- An educator demonstration (time permitting)
- Time to explore the exhibit galleries
- A planetarium show that will immerse your students in the topic of your choice—from the history of the space program to the constellations in our night sky!
Our planetarium theater has space for up to 4 wheelchairs.
Outreach:
- Up to 3 - 1 hour educational programs, each for 25-40 students (depending on type of program selected), delivered at school by Discovery Center Educator.
- Program topics include:
- ISS: Living & Working In Space
- Telescopes To Go
- The Comet Show
- Mini Paper Rockets
- Traveling Planetarium
