Candidates who qualify to represent the Canadian Working Dog Federation at the 2020 FCI IGP-FH World Championship must demonstrate/adhere to the following:
Conduct that exemplifies good sportsmanship and self-discipline.
A strong desire to attend the FCI IGP-FH World Championship and represent Canada and the Canadian Working Dog Federation in an international competition.
The handler must be a member in good standing of the CWDF member club of their dog’s breed, and a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).
As per FCI Regulations, to participate in the FCI IGP World Championship, dogs must be registered with their National Kennel Club for a minimum of 6 months at the time of the event.
The handler must have legal residence in Canada for more than 12 months and be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
The dog/handler team must remain the same throughout the qualification process and the FCI IGP championship.
Competition is restricted to one dog per handler.
The handler is not required to be the owner of the declared dog.
