DATA PRIVACY NOTICE FOR STUDENT ADMISSIONS

Don Bosco School (Salesian Sisters), Inc. (DBS) as a Personal Information Controller

In carrying out its admissions program, DBS acts as a Personal Information Controller (PIC) as defined under the Data Privacy Act of 2012. According to Sec. 3 of RA 10173.

Personal Information Collected

DBS shall collect personal information from student applicants needed for the admission process to be completed. The collected personal information shall be utilized solely for admission and enrollment purposes. Photo, audio and/or video recordings of the applicant’s online interview may be taken and kept by DBS for documentation and these may be subjected to editing, reproduction, distribution, and publication in support of its programs.

Protection Measures and Retention

Only authorized DBS personnel shall have access to the personal information collected during the admissions process. Electronic transmittal shall be done using official DBS communications media only. Print-outs shall be handled by authorized DBS personnel only.
