Outdoor Skating 101 (4 classes) May 2026
Take it off the smooth surfaces and learn to skate varied. Designed to enjoy the wind in your hair and the local beauty of nature. With the beginner in mind, this class will provide everything you need to feel confident while skating outdoors from getting out of the parking lot to traversing curbs and small inclines. Empasis is placed on safety and etiquette while on sidewalks and other shared pathways. *NOTE: We strongly recommend that you take our Skills & Safety class first before joining the outdoor class.

Distance Skating 101 (3 classes) August 2026
Let's cover 8+miles! Typically held on weekends in the spring and summer, this class will introduce you to realm of pace and distance skating from form to breathing and everything in between. Class progresses from 3miles to 18miles over the course of 3 months. NOTE: We strongly recommend that you take our Trail Skate 101 class first before joining this session if you do not feel comfortable skating from a curb to the street.

📄 TERMS & CONDITIONS WAIVER – Required for anyone wishing to participate. Parent/guardian must sign for minors in their care.

REQUIRED GEAR – Helmet, wrist guards, and knee pads are REQUIRED. No exceptions. Elbow pads optional but recommended.

PAYMENT – Payment must be made before the start of class. Cash accepted with exact change.

MERCHANDISE – Printed and shipped from Atascadero, California by The Lonely Oak (@TheLonelyOak).
