Position : Barista (Part Time)
Pay : $12 + TIPS ($5-$7/hr)
Hours/Week: 10-20
Responsibilities for Barista
- Prepare any menu items quickly and efficiently
- Be knowledgeable with all drinks or food items on the menu
- Clean hard to reach areas
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Interact with customers in a professional and joyful manner regardless of circumstances
- Handle all payments in a professional and efficient manner
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Have a thorough eye on areas needing to be cleaned
Qualifications for Barista
- A high school diploma or general education degree preferred
- Ability to clean surfaces from floor to ceiling
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Be able to work with and serve all types of people
- Previous coffee shop experience preferred
