The school reserves the right to contact your child’s previous school(s) to verify information you provide on this form. Information that you, and any previous school provides will also be used to decide if your application requires consideration under the WSCC Fair Access Protocol or further support from the WSCC Special Educational Needs team. These protocols and teams are in place to support applications for children who may be vulnerable children, whose behaviour indicates they are more challenging and/or who have currently in place an Education Health Care Plan.
Durrington High School is its Own Admissions Authority (OAA). This means it manages its own in-year student admissions. This form is for exclusive use for in-year applications. It is not to be used for applications that relate to children moving schools at the normal point of transition i.e for students currently in year 6 of primary school looking to join Durrington in year 7. Which form do I use?
This form is the one specific to Durrington High School and therefore you are not required to present a range of preferences for schools in with Worthing. You can also use the WSCC IYA form to apply for a place at Durrington.
What do I do when the form is completed?
You should complete the form as fully as possible as any gaps could lead to the processing of the form/admissions request being delayed. If you need to, you can save what you have completed so far, and come back to complete it later. Once completed, click the Submit button at the end of the form.
