    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. As a result we continually strive to share the entrepreneur story and spread the word about resources and programming the EC offers to the entrepreneur community. This position is for a student looking to emerge in the Nashville startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem and also looking to grow skills in audio production. Tasks will include going through previously recorded content to index files, setting up/tearing down studio as needed, guest coordination, and more. The EC podcast media team creates content around a variety of sources, including 1-off interviews, occasionally covering EC events or special initiatives and working on EC podcast projects. If you have studied audio engineering and audio/entertainment studies, you'll especially enjoy this work!

    Additional Skills Needed:

    Audio editing and production skills
    Computer to perform edits (intern doesn't need audio gear)

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. As a result we continually strive to share the entrepreneur story and spread the word about resources and programming that the EC offers to the entrepreneur community. This internship is for someone who wants to learn and experience creating valuable assets that further the mission of the Nashville EC to give entrepreneurs the critical resources to create, launch and grow their business. We regularly are digitizing our resources including online courses to scale up our educational offering. Additionally, this internship is designed to support our podcast production efforts. This internship may include the need to create videos or other specialized projects as needed. If you are a big picture thinker with the ability to balance and execute the step-by-step details, this is a role for you!

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is built by Nashville's entrepreneur community.  The EC hosts over 10,000 individuals each year at various community, sponsor and partner events.  The Events and Ops Intern will be responsible for supporting a quality event experience for EC members, the community and guests along with supporting the team's experience with the organization through operational support.  The intern will handle event setup and execution and support day-to-day functions at the EC.

    Additional Skills Needed:
    - Tech enabled (think microphones & projectors)

    - Event planning experience is helpful

    Hours:  20-40 hrs/week, Some evenings required for special events.

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is a community driven entity.  As a result we continually strive to share the entrepreneur story and spread the word about resources and programming that the EC offers to the entrepreneur community. The Marketing Intern will be focused on ideation, strategy and support to promote the EC’s mission, programs, membership and events via digital marketing efforts. This is a unique opportunity to experience the business world through an entrepreneurial organization. If you are interested in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications as a career, this is an ideal role to hone your skills and gain invaluable experience.

  • Intern Role: Navigation Intern
    Hours:  20-25 hrs/week

    Supervisor:  Program Coordinator

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) fosters innovation and entrepreneurship by connecting entrepreneurs to resources that help start and grow businesses and create jobs. The EC’s Navigation service connects entrepreneurs to the right resources across Nashville’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Navigation intern will learn about all of these resources and communicate directly with entrepreneurs in order to help get them to the best-fitting resource. Additional responsibilities will include data organization, information cataloging, problem solving, and more. There is a strong emphasis on Nashville’s community in this role, so the Navigation intern will not only be exposed to the entrepreneurs and programs here at the EC, but those across the entire Nashville community.

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is built by the Nashville community for the community.  As a result we continually strive to share the entrepreneur story and spread the word about resources and programming the EC offers to the entrepreneur community. This position is for a talented Nashville photographer to grow their skills as they capture images of EC events, partner events, various photography requests from EC staff, EC startups in action and key stakeholders working with the EC and the surrounding community. The work will be in collaboration with the podcast media team strategies to capture, catalog and share the entrepreneur and EC stories. Previous photography experience required. 

    Requirements:
    Important note: Photography taken on behalf of the EC will be owned by the EC with full license of use.  The intern will have unlimited use, non-commercial use of the photography in their online resume and portfolio. Gear and equipment are required and will not be provided by the EC. 

    Additional Skills Needed:

    Photography experience required (an active portfolio, whether that is a website or Instagram, is STRONGLY encouraged)
    Photo editing software to edit/retouch photos.
    Punctuality and an eye for detail.
    Willingness to accept feedback and eagerness to improve skills

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) fosters innovation and entrepreneurship by connecting entrepreneurs to resources that help start and grow businesses and create jobs.  The EC has 6 total programs, with 3 of them providing high-touch, exclusive, customized support for significant growth entrepreneurs.  We support these companies through general Advisors with experience in successfully building ventures, Experts who bring knowledge of the different facets of business operations and Industry Connections who bring a depth of industry intelligence and relationships.  The combination of these three different types individuals provides the support an entrepreneur needs to scale the business to its fullest potential. The Programs team meets with each startup monthly to hold them accountable to their goals, diagnose their obstacles and needs, and identify their next steps.  From there we make the connections they need to move forward.  Interns in this role will be involved in all the steps of managing these teams and will be partially responsible for facilitating and following up on connections.

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is a support system for entrepreneurs that provides access to coworking space, advisors and opportunities through memberships. The EC is made up of over 800 members who rely on the EC to support them through their entrepreneurial journey. The Membership Development intern will assist the Membership Lead in the following: focusing on ways to up-sell current members, eliminate churn through practical and personal sales methods, answer membership inquiries through the web and in-person, developing programs and opportunities for our member community, etc.

    Additional Skills Needed:
    - Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets
    - Experience with Excel preferred
