Timing is critical in detecting and treating viburnum leaf beetle. Visual inspection of the plant is the first step, followed by spraying with dormant oil and/or pruning affected branches. You do not need to be present during the visit. We can communicate in advance about the location and ID of the shrubs.
$50 to inspect the plants. This is the fee to inspect the plants and determine if there are egg masses present. The fee is applicable whether or not we find any egg masses.
$15 additional to spray dormant oil on any egg masses present. The spray will be done on the same visit. This fee will also cover minimal pruning as needed.
Additional fee for more than five shrubs.
If more than minimal pruning is needed, we will advise you of cost before continuing.
Payment may be made on the day of service, or an invoice will be left in the door.
Please note: We are providing this service to help minimize the population of viburnum leaf beetle. You may still see damage from the beetle during the season.
