Applications will be open from 01/08/2024 until 9am Friday 27/09/2024.

EARLY BIRD ADVANTAGE – Eastside will do a first review of all applicants on Friday 20th September - so, please apply early to avoid disappointment.
We welcome applications from all over London, but if you’re from Barking and Dagenham, Brent, Croydon, Enfield, or Newham, we have reserved 50% of our spots just for you!

Why do you want to take part in the BFI Film Academy?*
Please tell us about your experience and/or interest in Film. This could include your favourite film or television or a class that you have taken at school, for example. If you like, you can submit some work ( a film/photograph/piece of writing/ a website/ an animation etc.) to support your answer. The BFI Film Academy will be delivered by the course provider. Your submission of this form to us will constitute your confirmation of the following declaration:
