Position Overview:
The Church Secretary at Ebenezer Baptist Church plays a vital role in ensuring our ministry operates with excellence, warmth, and integrity. This part-time, in-person position provides administrative support to the Pastor, leadership and ministries, while serving as a key point of contact for our church family.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Administrative Assistant or Church Secretary
- Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience transcribing recorded meetings/sermons
- Familiarity with Baptist church culture and operations
- Experience with Canva, Publisher, or other design tools
- Experience with ACS or other church management software
