When you see a terrible ad or a badly written website 😬, your first thought most likely is...
*
This field is required.
I could write that so much better. 📝
Why would they choose that structure or that offer? 🤔
Missed opportunity! I can think of 5 better ideas off the bat. ✨
That tone feels wrong — no one wants to be spoken to like that. 😬
I don't notice when a website or ad is written poorly. I just find what I need. 🙂
If the interface is beautiful and intuitive, I’m in. Otherwise, ugh. 😑

What’s your relationship to AI tools like ChatGPT?
*
This field is required.
I use them to help rephrase or polish my writing
I test prompts and see what works — LLMs are like labs
I treat AI like a creative collaborator — I toss in ideas and remix
I use them here or there for help (they're impressive) but I simply prefer my own brain most of the time
I don’t really use them. Not a fan…
I use AI for inspiration or to generate images — it’s like having a junior designer to riff with.

Your friend’s making a flyer for an event and asks for help. What do you do?
*
This field is required.
Choose the closest fit even if you can relate to more than one.
Rewrite it so it’s clearer and flows better (and makes the event sound more exciting).
Ask her about the strategy and context — who are you targeting? Why? And where are you going to put this flyer?
Jump in with a way to turn the whole flyer angle around so it’s more interesting. No cliches allowed!
Get more info on the audience. We need to know what the audience wants to hear before anything else.
Say sure, but only for small things like checking for typos. I’ll be most helpful at the event where I’ll be hands-on.
Redesign the layout, pick better colors/fonts, and make sure it looks polished.

What’s your relationship with writing?
*
This field is required.
*swoon* We're practically soulmates.
There are so many ways to say things! Writing is how I process all the ideas in my head.
It’s emotional for me — I love writing that makes people feel something.
I’m more of a visual or talk-it-out person. I tend to procrastinate writing stuff.
It's a great tool — I love refining my message until it's 100% clear. Writing helps me think things through.
Writing’s fine, but I think in visuals first. I need it to *look* right on the page.

Throwback to school group projects — what role did you *always* get?
*
This field is required.
Everything to do with words — taglines, poems, color war songs, you name it.
Unofficial project manager — I kept us sane and on task. I figured out the strategy and who does what.
I came up with the angle or concept and made sure the presentation looked stunning.
I was the mediator — I kept everyone on the same page.
I was the dependable extra set of hands — happy to support however the group needed.
Design lead — I made the poster / presentation look drop-dead gorgeous.

At a party, family get-together, or busy meal, you usually…
*
This field is required.
Choose the closest fit even if you can relate to more than one.
Notice wording on things like the menu, the invitation, or even someone’s toast (and mentally edit them).
Smile and enjoy, but I'm not big on socializing so I'm happy when it ends.
Come up with fun conversation starters or suggest creative activities that get everyone involved.
Pick up on group dynamics – if anyone seems quiet or uncomfortable, I try to draw them into conversations.
Enjoy the food and company without overthinking the social stuff.
Notice the setup and what everyone is wearing — color schemes, table design, decor. Details matter.
