Application Part 1: Interview Questions

Please write your answers in a separate document and copy and paste them into each field in case of technical difficulties.

Application Part 2: Video Submission

Applicants will be asked to submit 4 different videos. Dancers should showcase at least 3 different styles.

1 video of the dancer performing the audition combo choreographed by Hayden J Frederick (combo tutorial)
1 video of the dancer performing someone else's choreography
1 video of improv in any style
1 “wild card” video submission of the dancer’s choice

Results

Our review panel selects dancers based on movement quality, technique, raw performance and how well they align with Embody’s mission. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until June 15th, 2025 OR if the program fills sooner, applications will close prior to the final deadline. Dancers may submit their application at any time and will receive their results as shown below:

First round of result emails: March 15, 2025
Second round of result emails: April 15, 2025
Third round of result emails: May 15, 2025
Final round of result emails: June 15, 2025

Please note, dancers may be waitlisted to the last round of applications. If waitlisted, dancers will be notified via email on the first or second round of result emails.
