Terms & Conditions
My Work
Upon viewing samples of my work, you have decided to invest in my services to photograph you because you are confident that I can give you results that you will cherish. There is no knowing what photos will be produced from this endeavour simply because this is an event in the future.
As an artist, I reserve the right to artistically interpret what I see and in what ways I choose to photograph a scene. This may mean that some shots are colour, some are Black and white. This is my interpretation and vision as an artist. If you prefer only colour or only black and white, please let me know.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Should I have an emergency and no longer be able to provide my services, I will reschedule. This would only be in the case of a true emergency and is never expected to be a possibility.
Should you need to reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours’ advance notice if possible. Deposit is non-refundable.
Please be punctual: Your appointment will be for the contracted time only.
Privacy
Photographs taken by Emma Finch Photography would only be used for the purposes of display, advertising, portfolio, website or any publication to promote my business with your express permission only.
Friends/relatives may not take pictures whilst the photographer is working.
Event Photography: Please make clear to guests that there will be a photographer present on the day and if any guest does not wish to appear in images, then to make themselves known to me.
I am committed to safeguarding the privacy of your personal information (name, email address, telephone number etc) and it is only ever used for me to contact you about the shoot you have booked with me. No one else ever has access to this information and it is safely stored on my computer behind a locked door!
Limit of Liability
Emma Finch Photography makes every effort to provide high quality photographic services using the best equipment on the market and backing up images immediately after the shoot in 3 different locations. In the unlikely event that images are lost, stolen or destroyed beyond my control, my liability is limited to the return of all payments made.
Retouching
The photographer has sole discretion in selecting the images to be edited.
Retouching- all images presented to the client are fully retouched. Additional retouching at the request of the client will be subject to additional cost.
Copyright
All images taken remain the property of Emma Finch Photography. You will be issued a print/share release with your images. This is for private use only and not commercial (unless otherwise agreed). Images may not be altered using software. It is against copyright law to save, screenshot or download images without permission.
Weather
If the weather is torrential and we cannot shoot, the session will be rescheduled or shot indoors. Clouds, wind, light sprinkles aren’t a problem and I usually go ahead in this case.
Styling
I do not offer free or discounted re-shoots on the basis of client regret over wardrobe choice, location choice, etc.
Force Majeure
The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation owing to any cause beyond my control. All efforts will be made to comply with alternate arrangements made.
It is agreed that these Booking Terms set out herein are the Terms and Conditions upon which your booking is accepted and represents the total agreement made between the parties and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing. All fees are non-refundable.
