  • Women2Women - America 2026 International Leadership Program
    The Women2Women - America 2026 conference will focus on EmpowerHER '26, a global initiative designed to cultivate leadership skills in girls aged 15 to19, offering them tools and opportunities to become influential leaders in their communities and beyond. As a delegate, you will have the opportunity to participate in high-level leadership training alongside international peers, gaining firsthand exposure to U.S. institutions, governance, and civic engagement models. Through interactive workshops, action plan development, and networking opportunities, you will gain leadership skills, media literacy, and cross-cultural collaboration experience, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to Norwegian society. You will meet with leading figures tackling these challenges on an international scale, and develop your leadership skills so you can make a difference. Perhaps most importantly, you will be joining a lifelong, global network of young women who support each other and work together to contribute to positive change around the world.
    Since 2006, more than 4,300 young women from over 90 countries have participated in the program.

  • Financial Responsibilities 

    Program Fee: $3,800 per participant (does not include airfare)

    Program Fee includes:
    - Lodging
    - Food - All meals, including snacks
    - All conference materials
    - All conference related activities and ground transportation during the program
    - All costs connected to speakers, and conference development and implementation
    - Basic Health Coverage (for all international participants)

    The following costs are NOT covered by the program fee and are the responsibility of the participant and/or sponsoring agency.
    - International Participants: Costs associated with securing passports

    - International Participants: Costs associated with securing visas – travel and airport transit (approximately $185 USD visa / $40 USD ESTA)
    - International Participants: If you require a visa to enter the United States you will be responsible for the Visa Integrity Fee. This will be paid at the time of receiving your visa. The $250 Visa Integrity Fee is a Refundable Fee when you return home to your country within the time limits of your visa.

    - Costs associated with travel – transportation to and from the airport in participant’s home country/state, luggage fees
    - Incidental costs
    - Health insurance deductible and/or outstanding balances not covered by health insurance – should the participant require medical care or hospitalization

    We encourage everyone to apply even if you cannot afford the program fee.

    There are limited scholarships available for qualified applicants. We strongly encourage ONLY those candidates that are in need to apply for a scholarship.

    Transportation/Visas/ESTAs

    - Many International participants will qualify for an ESTA to travel to the United States. If you are not sure if you require a visa or an ESTA, you can check here at the Visa Wizard.

    - INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS RQUIRING A VISA: If selected to attend W2W 2026, you must obtain your passport and secure a visa interview as soon as possible. Participants should look to apply for a (B-2) tourist visa. You DO NOT need to have a passport to complete this application.

    - If selected, participants are responsible for obtaining their own travel and airport transit visas. Some participants may need to obtain an airport transit visa - a visa required to wait for a few hours at the airport’s international transit area. 

    - Empower Peace will provide international participants with an acceptance letter detailing where you will be staying and what Empower Peace will be providing. Your acceptance letter will be needed for your visa interview to travel to the US.  

    - Empower Peace will greet all participants at Logan International Airport in Boston and bring them to the program. Participants will be fully responsible for transportation to and from the airport in their home country.

    - Empower Peace WILL NOT accommodate any requests to extend a participant’s stay in Boston or the United States. All participants must depart Boston on their scheduled flight from Logan International Airport.


    Housing/Meals

    - All participants will be housed in dorms at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, USA during the entire program. 

    - Participants will have at least one roommate from another country. Participants are not allowed to make roommate requests or switch rooms.

    - Bathrooms are shared.

    - Participants will be living in an all-female floor in the college dorm with Empower Peace participants and staff. The dorm building area is shared by other students (non-conference participants).

    - Participants are expected to abide by all Empower Peace and dorm rules. Rules will be provided in your check-in materials if you are selected as a delegate.

    - All meals, including snacks, are provided by Empower Peace. Halal food will be available on a limited basis. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please indicate if you require Halal or Kosher food or if you have any food allergies (ie. gluten, nuts, etc.) in the health section of the application.


    Health Insurance

    Empower Peace will provide all international participants with basic travel/health coverage. IMPORTANT: Participants will be responsible for any charges/co-pays associated with a medical visit. Coverage will begin on the day they begin travel to the United States and will end on the day they return home.

  • Schedule

    We are currently working on the schedule for Women2Women 2026 - America. As soon as we have the schedule confirmed, we will share it with you.

    W2W 2026 will take place from Tuesday, July 21 - Thursday, July 30, 2026. The first day of the conference and last day are considered travel days. NOTE: Some international participants may begin their travel to Boston as early as one day before the start of the program. Most participants will leave their home and arrive in Boston on July 21st.

    The program will include skill-building workshops, team-building activities, and seminars led by prominent educators and leaders from government, media, business, science and technology, and the nonprofit sector. Participants will also engage in outreach events with youth and community leaders, as well as cultural activities. Full participation in all program activities is required.

  • IMPORTANT: You are not required to have a passport to apply for the Women2Women program. If selected as an international participant, you will need a passport to travel to the United States. 

  • In order to attend W2W 2026, all international participants must have a valid passport. Your passport expiration date must be at least six months after August 1, 2026. If your passport expiration date is between August 1, 2026 and February 28, 2027 you may be refused entry into the United States.
