We, the undersigned, stand in full solidarity with the call for the formal inclusion of Indigenous Black women—particularly Rastafari, Maroon, and other sovereign African-descended communities—within all levels of CARICOM regional governance and policymaking.
We endorse the following demands:
1. Formal recognition of Indigenous Black women as sovereign stakeholders.
2. Accreditation or observer status for Rastafari and Maroon women leaders at CARICOM meetings.
3. Creation of a Regional Council of Indigenous Women of African Descent.
4. Dedicated funding for grassroots initiatives led by Indigenous Black women.
