This will be the first Kabbalat Shabbat in this service style, and we look forward to sharing this meaningful experience together as we welcome the new and celebrate our Torah Reader, Cantor Kevin McIntyre.

Shabbat Dinner Celebration

Please join us as we welcome Shabbat and celebrate our Torah Reader, Cantor Kevin McIntyre.  Kevin has been an incredible light in our Etz Chayim family and community, and we are so proud of his recent acheivement of completing his Cantorial studies and being newly ordained as a Cantor in the Aleph Ordination Program.  This promises to be an evening of warmth, reflection, and celebration.

We look forward to celebrating with you.

A Special Note for our Congregation Etz Chayim Members

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, CEC Members in good standing are invited to attend our Shabbat Dinners in 2026 as guests at no charge as follows:

• CEC Individual Membership includes 1 Adult Dinner.

• CEC Family Membership includes one residence and up to 2 Adult Dinners & up to 2 Kids Dinners (12 & under).

Additional family members and friends are welcome to be registered as paid guests.

Shabbat Morning Service - April 18th, 2026

The celebrations continue on Shabbat morning with a special service during which Kevin will be called to the Torah in recognition of his dedicated contributions to our congregation.

Please note that each Shabbat Dinner can accommodate up to 90 guests.

Registration fees are non-refundable unless the program or event is cancelled by Congregation Etz Chayim. We encourage pre-registration and advance payment for all programs, events, and workshops to help us ensure appropriate staffing and materials for participants. Unless otherwise noted, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins for workshops or structured programs. All programs and workshops are subject to minimum enrollment and Congregation Etz Chayim reserves the right to cancel a program or workshop if there is insufficient registration.
