SELLER OF TRAVEL/CALIFORNIA TRAVEL CONSUMER RESTITUTION FUND DISCLOSURES

POLICY ON CANCELLATION FEES AND REFUNDS: Deposit of $900 per person is required with registration. Full payment of the Trip price is required by August 2, 2024. If written cancellation is received by Devotion Travel, A Division of Executours Inc. ("Devotion Travel”) by the date(s) specified below, cancellation fees/penalties and refunds are as follows, per person:
CANCELLATION FEES PER PERSON
Cancellations must be received in writing to be effective. Fees are based on the date written notice of cancellation is received by Devotion Travel.
From registration until March 31, 2023, fee is $600.00
From April 1, 2023 - August 2, 2024, fee is 100% of deposit.
Final payment due: August 2, 2024.
From August 3 - September 2, 2024 – cancellation fee is 50% of Trip price.
From September 3 - October 3, 2024 – cancellation fee is 80% of Trip price.
On/after October 4, 2024 -- 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
If final payment is not received by August 2, 2024, a late payment fee of $150 will be assessed or we may cancel your registration and refund your payment, less applicable cancellation fee.
Travel insurance payments are non-refundable.
To be effective, cancellations must be received in writing by Devotion Travel on or before the specified date(s). If the Trip member cancels the Trip in compliance with this policy and is not at fault, then sums paid to Devotion Travel for services not provided (less the partial or full deductions provided for in the policy) will be promptly refunded as per the policy unless the Trip member otherwise advises Devotion Travel. (This provision does not apply where Devotion Travel has remitted funds to another seller of travel, carrier or other provider, without obtaining a refund, or where the seller, carrier payment or provider defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or service and/or fails to provide a refund to Devotion Travel.) Any additional costs, change fees and penalties charged by airlines, cruise lines, or vendors to the passenger for cancellations or changes are the responsibility of the traveler and will be deducted from any refund otherwise due.
TRIP RESCHEDULING: It is possible that Devotion Travel, the tour operator(s) and/or Trip leader will find it necessary to change the currently-scheduled dates of the Trip to future dates to be determined due to governmental action, pandemic, or other circumstances beyond their control or the control of Devotion Travel. Should that occur, all travelers will be rebooked for the new dates. Any traveler unable to travel on the new dates may cancel their participation and will be assessed a cancellation fee deductible from any refund in the minimum amount of $350 per person, together with any additional penalties/fees that may be imposed by the tour/ground operator(s) or airlines.
DEVOTION TRAVEL IS ONLY ACTING AS AGENT: Devotion Travel is a travel agency and is not the tour operator responsible for this Trip. Devotion Travel does not itself provide air transportation, lodging, meals, ground transportation, or other goods or services of any kind in connection with this Trip.
PROVIDERS OF SERVICES - CHRISTMAS MARKETS TRIP: Air transportation for this Trip currently is expected to be provided by Lufthansa Airlines. Ground services/transportation, cruise, and sightseeing currently are expected to be provided by Ama Waterways and TBA. Devotion Travel reserves the right to substitute air carriers and hotels and/or ground service or cruise providers.
TCRF: This transaction is covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment. Devotion Travel currently is a registered participant in the TCRF. Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF claim. This transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund if the passenger is purchasing from outside California.
Trust Account: California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. Devotion Travel has a trust account.
