The Football NSW Referee Development Panel (RDP) is the recognition of talented branch referees who are seeking to continue their development. The RDP is the training ground for referees to officiate on FNSW’s Youth National Premier League matches in order to accelerate their development. Football NSW RDP referees get access to experienced match officials (from the National Premier League and A-Leagues Women's & Men's) who provide match day coaching and training as well as theory and practical sessions provided monthly. They also will be invited to participate in school tournaments and officiate on the Talent Support Program matches throughout the year where they will receive additional coaching and training.
Who can join the RDP?
Any referees who are registered with a local branch within NSW. The main target range is 15-20yr old referees with at least 1 year experience however all candidates will be considered by your branch.
