About Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club:

Officially founded as a non-profit in 2004 by Ellis “El-Dog” Ferrell, Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club is a community-based organization in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, dedicated to providing horsemanship education, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities for youth in Philadelphia. The club has been a pillar of the community in North Philadelphia for over 50 years, offering a unique and positive outlet for young people to learn valuable life skills through their love of horses.
