• Flinders Student Support Grants

  • What is a Flinders Student Support Grant?

The Flinders Student Support Grant program provides one-off funds to eligible students studying at Flinders who are experiencing short-term financial hardship that places their continuation of study at risk.

The program recognises that acute financial stress should not prevent students from completing their education at Flinders and seeks to improve participation, equity, and completion outcomes through targeted, timely support.

At this time we have two grant pools available.

    Emergency Student Support Grant

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will be assessed monthly. Until available funding has been allocated

    Financial Hardship Grant

Applications received by the Semester 2 census date 28th August will be processed together. Applications received after the census date will be assessed monthly until available funding has been allocated

We have a single form for applying for these grant programs and the Advocacy and Welfare Team will assess applicants against eligibility criteria and award grants until funds are exhausted.
