  • Whimsical Wishes and Wonder

    Program Overview
Whimsical Wishes and Wonder is an interactive, play-based curriculum that nurtures the whole girl—mind, body, and spirit. Designed for girls ages 7 to 13, this program creates a safe, joyful, and affirming space where participants, lovingly referred to as Fairy Mentees, explore creativity, personal discovery, movement, and emotional growth. Rooted in fun and imagination, the program blends essential life skills with physical activity, expressive arts, cultural exploration, and social-emotional learning (SEL). Through these experiences, girls develop the confidence, resilience, and inner strength needed to navigate the complexities of girlhood while embracing leadership, self-love, and community.

    Core Learning Objectives
Whimsical Wishes and Wonder is grounded in five developmental pillars that shape each session:

    • Self-Awareness
Girls engage in reflective, age-appropriate activities that help them understand their emotions, identify their strengths, and navigate challenges—supporting healthier choices and personal growth.

    • Self-Esteem
A supportive, culturally affirming environment encourages positive self-expression, risk-taking, and pride in who they are, building strong internal confidence.

    • Self-Advocacy
Participants learn how to communicate needs, voice opinions, set boundaries, and advocate for themselves in school, at home, and in peer settings.

    • Leadership
Through team challenges, role-play, and collaborative projects, girls develop leadership skills including decision-making, communication, responsibility, and inspiring others.

    • Empathy
Interactive experiences teach girls to recognize and honor diverse feelings and perspectives, building compassion, emotional intelligence, and positive peer relationships.

    Physical Wellness Objectives
Movement is intentionally embedded throughout the curriculum to support girls' physical and emotional well-being:

    • Promote body positivity and physical confidence
Girls learn to appreciate their bodies for strength, capability, and uniqueness.

    • Encourage movement as joy and community
Activities make physical engagement fun, social, and accessible.

    • Increase access to active spaces
The program expands opportunities for girls to move freely and safely in schools and community environments.

    • Foster holistic health habits
Girls gain foundational practices that support long-term mental and physical wellness, including mindfulness, stretching, teamwork-based movement, and healthy routines.
