At Farms for City Children, it's important for us to show people the work that we do and the impact that it has on children’s lives. One of the best ways for us to do this is through the use of visual media. This can include photographs, video footage and sound recordings of the children who visit the farms. It may also include copies of creative things they produce during their stay including pictures, video, artwork, stories and blogs.
Having permission to use these enables us to promote the work of the charity to new visiting groups and support us. We also use images and videos to help us evidence the benefits of farm visits to the funders who support us.
We will only use visual media of children with the consent of parents/ legal guardians. If you are happy to provide that, please complete and submit this form. We will keep a digital copy of this form for as long as we retain your child's image.
Notes on terms of consent:
- Images / videos will not be taken of any child, young person or adult against their wishes.
- Images / videos will be retained for a period of five years, after which they will be deleted.
- Identifiable information in photographs will be kept to a minimum and no child will be named.
- The name of the school may be mentioned but only if absolutely necessary.
- Consent to use images/video can be withdrawn at any time by emailing marketing@farmsforcitychildren.org.
- We will store all images and consent forms securely in line with our privacy policy.
Use of images and media will include: Farms for City Children's printed and digital publications, fundraising and marketing materials, media releases, social media, website, training/education and testimonial content. It may also include use by our selected funders on their websites, social media and publications, for the purposes of raising awareness of and funds for Farms for City Children.
