  • Camp Staff Roles and Descriptions

    Based on your age, experience, and license level you are eligible to coach in specific capacities within certain commensurate pay ranges. Before moving any further in your desire to coach at an Inter Atlanta FC Camp, please review our Staff Roles, Responsibilities, Ages, and Eligibility doc to be clear on which role you could be fulfilling and what the pay ranges are for each role.
  • In short, there are three different coaching capacities.

    I.   Camp Staff Coaches (College Age and Adult Coaches)
    II.  Camp Staff Coaches-in-Training (Coaches ages 14-17)
    III  Volunteers (Coaches ages 12-13 or anyone looking for service hours)

  • Process to becoming a Camp Coach after application submission

  • Dear Applicant, 

    Thank you for submitting your application for coaching at one of our camps.  Please see the below process and expectations to becoming a Camp Coach.  These steps and expectations apply to all Volunteers, Camp Staff Coaches-in-Training (CSTs), Camp Staff Coaches, and Directors On Site.

    If you are prepared to fully complete each step, we will be thrilled to offer a coaching spot to you at one of our camps, should there be an opening.  If not, please do reach out to us and let us know you will be rescinding your application. 

     

    Acquisition Process

    Step 1: Application Filled Out and Submitted (what you just completed - 15 minutes)

    Step 2: Director of Camps to contact applicant, so check email and/or voicemail

    Step 3: Availabilty form completed based on eligibility results (5 minutes)

    Step 4: Full Job Description reviewed and agreed upon (10 minutes)

     

    Onboarding Process

    Step 1: Contract sent, reviewed, and signed (10 minutes)

    Step 2: W9 Completed via Adobe Acrobat (5 minutes)

    Step 3: Policies and Procedures document fully read through (15 minutes)

    Step 4: Policies and Procedures quiz taken (10 minutes)

    Step 5: CPR, AED, and 1st Aid Overview (20 minutes)

     

    Training Process

    Step 1: Compare Rec vs Competitive Camp Curriculum and Schedule (15 minutes)

    Step 2: Technical Videos watched (45 minutes)

    Step 3: "What We Expect Coached and How at Camp" Vidoes watched (45 minutes)

    Step 4: Read "Planning a Session" doc (10 minutes)

     

     

    Mandatory Staff Meeting Process

    Step 1: Put Sunday, July 13, 3-5pm on your calendar (1 minute)

    Step 2:  Read over meeting agenda and accompanying documents or links (30 minutes)

    Step 3: Attend Mandatory Staff Meeting, July 13 (2 hours)

     

    Pre-Camp Expectations

    Step 1: Confirm Coaching Availabilty with Director On Site (2 minutes)

    Step 2: Plan Your Weekly Sessions (30 minutes)

     

    Camp Expectations

    Step 1: Work Camp Week (5 days)

     

    Post-Camp Expectations

    Step 1: Fill out end of camp survery (5 minutes)
