Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) Name*

Please use the FIP name as displayed on your FisheryProgress profile

FIP Identification Number*

Find your FIP ID number by going to the Overview tab of your FisheryProgress FIP profile. Once on the Overview tab, scroll down until you get to the bottom of the "FIP Leads" section on the right side of the page. Your ID number is just below this section.

Note that, by selecting "Not sure" to any of the below criteria, the FIP is indicating that it meets the fifth risk criteria, "The FIP doesn’t have enough information to determine if it meets any of the above criteria."

1. There is at-sea transshipment among large vessels in the FIP.
2. The FIP has one or more vessels with a significant foreign migrant workforce (defined as 25% or more of fishers are not citizens of the vessel's flag state*).
3. The FIP has one or more vessels where fishing trips** exceed 90 days.
4. The FIP has a reported incident*** of forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking within the past two years.

* For the purposes of Risk Criterion #2, EU citizens working on an EU member state flagged vessel may be considered the same as citizens of the vessel’s flag state, i.e. they do not count towards the calculation of foreign migrant workforce.

** Fishing trips are defined as any voyage during which fishing took place. The duration of a fishing trip includes all time spent away from the port(s) of origin. This includes but is not limited to time spent at-sea, docked in foreign ports, soak time, and time spent resting in remote areas without access to communications.
