Review and adhere to the work guidelines and safety suggestions outlined in the Freshwater Land Trust Adopt-a-Trail Handbook prior to the first service day, and refer to these as needed thereafter,

Collect the trail maintenance starter kit (if needed) containing gloves and trash bags from the Freshwater Land Trust,

Perform at least two hours of service on your adopted trail segment every other month for a period of at least one year, for a total of 12 hours at a minimum,

Only conduct approved service opportunities of litter-pick up and collection, raking and sweeping of trails, removal of weeds and invasive plants, and planting of native vegetation,

Conduct advanced tasks such as larger-scale beautification or removal projects (including use of chemicals), posting signage, and Scout projects ONLY after pre-approval from Freshwater Land Trust,

Submit the Service Report Form after every completed service, ideally no later than one week after completed service date,

Be respectful and cautious of pedestrians, cyclists, and other trail users while volunteering on your trail segment,

Act as an ambassador of the Red Rock Trail System®.
