Please note the following criteria as stipulated by NBC:

- Applicants must be at least 17 years old and have a valid NSW Drivers Lisense

- Applicants must be an active patrolling member

- Applicants must have renewed their registration and paid all fees owing for the 2025/26 season.

- Applicants cannot receive more than one permit, so applications from ratepayers and where a permit has been given through another source are excluded

- Nippers and their families cannot be included in the application process

- Permits cannot be sold or traded

- Permits can be given only to the applicants, ie someone else cannot pick up your permit.
