    • Location

    Our rooms are located in a historic mansion on a bus line in the heart of the Heritage Hill neighborhood of Grand Rapids, MI, close to GRCC, GVSU's downtown campus, and the Medical Mile on Michigan Street.

     

    • Amenities

    Amenities include On-Site Parking, On-Site Laundry. Pets Allowed on a case by case basis. Shared common areas (kitchens, dining room, living rooms, bathrooms, laundry area, and storage) and private rooms.

  • Costs

    • Monthly Costs

    • Room Rent Rate: $600 - $900/month
      We do require proof of income that is at least 3 times the room rent rate.
    • Flat Rate Utilities: $130/mo includes: Electricity, Heat, Water/Sewer, WiFi, Trash/Recycling
    • FORK: $90/mo This is our Shared Meal, Pantry & Basic Necessities Program, and it is not optional. Shared meals build community and with our bulk purchasing power, in most cases you'll find that you save on your typical costs of groceries, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. 

     

    • Move In Costs

    • Membership Share: $600 - each resident has to be a member of the cooperative, which is a demonstration of your voluntary commitment to our cooperative values and membership agreements, as well as granting you voting rights. Member shares are refundable upon moving out minus any unpaid rent, damages, or unpaid member fines.
    • Administrative Fee: $200 - covers the cost of processing applications and is not refundable.
    • First Month's Room Costs: Rent (varies), Utilities ($130), and FORK ($90).
