Best Product Design (Volume Builder) Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on overall design, attention to design detail, scale, balance, function, style and value. Entries will also be evaluated as to the appropriateness to the target market. Category number is based upon sales price of home, not including the lot cost. Home must have been built between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Best Product Design (Custom Builder) Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on overall design, attention to design detail, scale, balance, function, style and value (furnishings are not part of this category). Category number is based upon sales price of home, not including the lot cost. Home must have been built between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.

THE CUSTOM HOME CATEGORIES WILL BE JUDGED USING A POWER POINT PRESENTATION. THE POWER POINT PRESENTATION FORMAT IS PREFERRED BY THE JUDGES AS IT ALLOWS A BETTER OPPORTUNITY TO VIEW SPECIFIC FEATURES AND DETAILS OF THE HOME. THERE IS A MAXIMUM OF 40 SLIDES/IMAGES THAT CAN BE INCLUDED IN THE POWER POINT PRESENTATION (ONE IMAGE PER SLIDE).
Best Product Design (Garden Home) Judging Criteria:

Entries judged as “Garden Home” will be a freestanding, single-family dwelling on a zero lot line and will be judged on overall design, attention to design detail, scale, balance, function, style and value. Category number is based upon sales price of home, not including the lot cost. Home must have been built between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Best Room Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on overall design, attention to detail, function, style and value. Home must have been built between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Best Remodeling Project Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on overall design, attention to detail, scale, balance, function, style and value. Project must have been started & completed between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Best Landscape Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on their street appeal, use of topography and vegetation, creativity and compatibility of overall design and best use of color. Project must have been started and completed between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Best Poolscape Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged for quality of workmanship, soundness of design, beauty and creativity. Attention will be given to the surrounding landscaped area regarding how well it harmonizes with the installation. Project must have been started and completed between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
Best Interior Merchandising Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on use of color, texture, interior space, furniture, accessories, window and wall treatments, and appeal to the product’s specific target market in the most cost-effective manner. Home must have been built between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. Price range is based on sales price of the home (not including lot cost), not the cost of interior merchandising.
