Parishioner Funeral Planning Worksheet
The best possible person to plan for your funeral is you! Planning while in the midst of fresh grief is such a challenge; your family and friends will be so grateful to know that you have carefully considered this important event so they can be confident in your desires and help make them happen. Completing this planning worksheet will give you the chance to carefully consider your desires and preferences within the Burial of the Dead liturgies found in the Book of Common Prayer. Scripture from the Book of Common Prayer and Hymns from Hymnal 1982 are options. All other requests are approved at the discretion of the Rector/designee.
If you would like to see the services in the Book of Common Prayer, you can access them at https://bcponline.org/. Choose Pastoral Services and at the bottom of the list of services are the Burial of the Dead liturgies (Rite I and Rite II). You can click through to those services directly from that list.
