Contract Terms
Fees paid will not be refunded due to a vendor’s failure to participate in the show.
Location of booth space within the show hall will be decided by the show committee. Preferential location and space allocation will be given to previous GEMS vendors as well as to those vendors who will enhance the spectator experience and/or submit their signed contracts and deposits first.
Only vendors with ratified contracts will be permitted to conduct business on the
premises of the GEMS show site.
Vending spaces cannot be shared by multiple businesses — each business must purchase their own vending space.
Your payment will serve as acknowledgement of receipt of these terms and conditions.
Set up will occur on Friday, 24 July from 1:00PM-4PM ET. No extensions will be given on set up.
Access to the showhall will only be walk-in, no vehicles are allowed in the facility.
Judging begins at 7:30AM and spectator hours are from 9:00AM to 4:00PM Saturday and Sunday. Vendor breakdown at the end of the show cannot occur until after the end of cat handling in all rings.
GEMS and the Maryland State Fairgrounds will not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature that may be sustained by a vendor as a result of participation in the show. All claims for such losses or damages are expressly waived by the vendor and the vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the two aforementioned parties.
