Session Type:* This field is required.Presenters have the option of submitting a proposal for a live or recorded session. If you proposal is accepted for a live session, you will have the option of choosing your presentation day and time. If you opt to offer a recorded session, you record your own video and submit it to conference organizers by December 15, 2025.

Session FormatInteractive Workshops (90 min) - Interactive workshops are hands-on skill-building sessions where participants learn practical democracy competencies—like facilitation, coalition building, or strategic communication—through guided exercises and activities they can immediately apply in their professional contexts. Panel Discussions (50 min) - Panel discussions feature multiple presenters from different sectors examining democracy challenges through diverse perspectives, with significant audience interaction and practical recommendations Solution Labs (50 min) - Solution labs are collaborative sessions where participants from different sectors—educators, business leaders, nonprofits, and organizers—work together in mixed teams to develop actionable solutions to real democracy challenges using structured problem-solving processes. Lightning Talks (20 min) - Lightning Talks are rapid-fire presentations where practitioners share specific innovations, successful projects, or creative tools, allowing participants to encounter diverse approaches and connect with presenters for follow-up collaboration. Resource Showcases (20 min) - Resource showcases are demonstrations where presenters share practical tools, templates, apps, or methodologies that participants can immediately download, adapt, and implement in their own democracy work.
