Background
Hamilton County ReSource (ReSource) is offering a competitive grant to help food rescue organizations, schools, non-profits, and for-profit businesses acquire equipment that increases the amount of surplus food rescued to feed people and reduce organic landfill waste in Hamilton County, Ohio. Projects must be ready to implement and capable of increasing food rescue capacity within two years. Applicants may request up to $200,000 and must demonstrate how funding will divert at least 250 tons of surplus food from the landfill within that timeframe.
