  • Please complete the following form to apply for a press pass. Please understand there are only a limited number of press passes, and your application may not be successful. 

    If you are successful, we will send you a confirmation email. Please present the confirmation email with a QR code upon arrival at the HYPER JAPAN Press Registration Desk.

    If you don't receive a confirmation email by the end of October 2025, we have not accepted your application for this event. You are still welcome to attend by purchasing a ticket as usual. 

    Note: Every individual who is attending must submit an application. We do not allow teams to submit a single application.

    Once we send you a confirmation email for your press pass, your email address will be automatically subscribed to the HYPER JAPAN Press Newsletter. This will ensure you receive important updates, including artist interview opportunities, press schedules, and other key information to support your coverage of the event. The newsletter is managed by Cross Media Ltd, the organiser of HYPER JAPAN. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the footer of each email.

  • Artist Interviews

    If you would like to interview the artists please choose their names below.

  • *Please note that not all artists & performers have been announced yet – additional names will be added in due course.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

     - All photography is to be carried out in accordance with the instructions of HYPER JAPAN organisers and the Manchester Central venue.

     - Interviews and filming are to be conducted for publicity purposes, and as such may be broadcast or made available via media channels.

     - Such photographic or video material shall NOT be sold to third parties, including photo library sites.

    - Please note that each pass is issued to an individual and is strictly non-transferable and not for resale. Anyone found to be transferring or selling their pass will be disqualified from receiving Press Passes at HYPER JAPAN.

     - Neither shall such material be sold to newspapers or magazines for commercial interest. (In cases where there is potential commercial interest, please submit a proposal to hyperjapan@pragencyone.co.uk

     - Filming, audio recording and photography should only take place within the designated event areas, exhibitor areas or aisles.

     - Equipment should be brought into the venue only in accordance with the instructions of the venue or the official security company.

     - Consent for recording and dissemination of images of exhibitors, performers and visitors is a matter for agreement between each media company and those being recorded. The organisers, HYPER JAPAN, are not involved in any way. We ask that recording and dissemination are done responsibly.

     - Where media representatives wish to interview performers, this can be arranged, but requests for photography, audio recording or filming should always be agreed directly in writing (either on paper or electronically) with the performer’s management.

     - Please accept that some performers may not want to be filmed or photographed.

     - Please ensure to seek permission to take or use pictures of visitors to the event.

     - Please understand that the organisers, HYPER JAPAN, accept no responsibility for any agreement violation, copyright infringement or litigation from information leakage etc. arising from any of the activities mentioned above.
