2025 Spring Market Volunteers

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer for Handmade Arcade's Spring Market! Our Spring Market features 30+ new and emerging makers, live arts demos, food and drink vendors, youth makers, and more.

Event Hours: Satuday, April 12 from 9 AM - 5 PM

Volunteer Hours: Saturday, April 12 from 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Shift Length: Two Hours (except for last shift, which is three hours to help with clean-up)

Location: Construction Junction (214 N Lexington St, Pittsburgh, PA 15208)

All volunteers will receive 15 raffle tickets for the Spring Market raffle.

Handmade Arcade accepts volunteers of all ages, but young people ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult when volunteering.

Young people ages 15-18 may volunteer without an adult, but they will be required to submit a parent/guardian permission form after signing up for a volunteer shift.

Shift Selection
There are a variety of different roles for volunteers, including:
- Welcome Table Greeter
- Raffle Ticket Seller
- Parking Lot Greeter & Directing
- Maker Support
You may be assigned to any role depending on day-of needs. Roles may be indoors or outdoors. All roles can be performed standing or sitting, but please note that some corners and turns inside this venue can be tight to navigate for folks using wheelchairs. All roles are primarily stationary other than Maker Support, which requires moving throughout the venue. Construction Junction has an accessible parking lot and entrance.
Accessibility Needs
Do you have any accessibility needs that you would like to share with us?
Examples: You are unable to work outside if it is a hot day, you require a chair for resting, you would like to be in a stationary volunteer role so you don't need to walk very much, you would like a volunteer role that provides ample space for use of a wheelchair, etc.
